In-home Consultations
How long will the consultation take?
The in-home consultation generally takes about an hour, depending on the size and number of spaces to be designed. We will talk with you to determine needs and preferences and will assess and measure your space.
How much does the consultation cost?
The in-home consultation is free! We aim to exceed your expectations with the design, but you are never obligated to purchase anything.
Should I clean or empty out my space before the consultation?
No, you do not need to clean out the space prior to the consultation. We will measure the space carefully, including obstructions such as the placement of electrical outlets and doors. Measuring may involve moving a few items to access the space, but there is no need to organize ahead of time--that is exactly what we are here to help with!
How will you collect information for the design process?
We will talk with you, ask you questions about your preferences for style and function, and we will take careful notes. We will draw a sketch of the space and measure it carefully. We will ask you if we can take a few photos of your space. The photos help during the design process by providing visuals to go along with measurements and drawings. This helps us create the best solution possible design for you!
How can I see the designs?
We will provide a link so that you can view your design in 2D and 3D. The designer can also meet with you in your home or at the showroom to look at and discuss the design together.

Can I ask for changes to the design?
Yes, you can absolutely ask for changes! This is the part of customization that creates the best solution for you.
Do I have to make a decision right away?
No, this is an important purchase, and there is not a deadline for connecting with the designer. Keep in mind, though, that it takes time to order, ship, and prep the product in our warehouse before it can be installed. We want to be able to fulfill your expectations for timelines.
Can you give me a cost estimate before creating a design?
We will create the design first, as it depends on many factors such as the client's preferences and needs, along with the size and unique characteristics of the space. We will work to give you a design that meets your needs and your budget.
Can I see samples of finishes, colors, and products?
Yes! We want clients to visualize what their space can be. We will bring samples of colors on the first consultation. Clients are invited to make an appointment to visit our showroom to experience the ORG Home products in person, including various display areas, hardware, and accessories.
How does the design process work?
Starting with a thorough understanding of your needs, we will design a custom solution using Studio, state-of-the-art design software. Studio helps us engage with you so that you are a participant in the process and so that the result is a solution that is uniquely yours.
How does the ordering process work?
Once you approve the design, the design is translated in the Studio design software into an exact order, so the solution is right, every time. There is never a worry over dimensional or style translations from the drawing to the shop floor.
Timelines
How long will it take for my order to ship?
Typically, products ship 1-2 weeks from the order date.
What happens once my order arrives at the Hall's Closets & More warehouse?
Our install team preps all your products and loads them in the truck and trailer.
How long will it take to get my project on the schedule to be installed ?
Once the product ship date is established, we will set up a time for installation. The length of time varies, but generally the time from ordering to installation is 2-3 weeks.
How long will it take the team to install my project ?
The amount of time required for installation varies based on the size and complexity of the project, but most installations are finished in one day.
How should I prep my space before installation?
Remove any personal items to clear the space for installation. It is best to remove existing products, such as wire shelving, so that you can easily patch and paint prior to us installing your new design.
Installation
How long will it take for installation?
We are usually finished with installation in a day, depending on the size and complexity.
Will you be using power tools in my home?
Yes, we will sometimes need to use tools such as a saw for customizing products on site. The team does this work outside. In the case of inclement weather, they will need a small area such as in a garage to complete the work.
When will you arrive for the installation?
Usually, we arrive in the morning between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. in order to ensure finishing each project as efficiently as possible.
Will you clean up when you're finished?
Yes, we will treat your home with care! We will wipe surfaces down and clean the floor area so it is ready for you to enjoy!
Will I have to pay for the in-home consultation?
No, the consultation is free!
Payment
When will I be asked to pay for my project?
We collect a deposit of 50% prior to ordering materials. The balance is due upon completion of the project.
What kinds of payment do you accept?
